It was bad cause we lost a record number of players, had opt outs, injuries a weak inexperienced secondary and a new D scheme being implemented. O knows this year's D was not going to be as good as 2019. You are also forgetting the conference is now loaded with really good offenses and other than Bama a lot of points are being put up every weekend on defenses. Firing coaches every year like you seem to suggest game to game is not the answer. Bo will get his players in and this D will be great again. Hell one of our best players on D this year was Cox whom Pelini brought to LSU. Bo know what to do to many negatives this year to judge him.
This is the second year in a row that Ole Miss has racked up a ridiculous amount of rushing yards against LSU. I will not shed any tears if Pelini is unemployed in the near future.
To be fair, Pellini is not responsible for what happened in 2019, but his overall resume for 2020 is enough to tell me he's not the man for the job. We did see two crucial improvements in the final two wins; the ability to produce turnovers, and stops at crucial times. Still doesn't offset the overall production allowed by FU and OM in those two games.
HE DOESNT HAVE THE PLAYERS THIS YEAR! Ole Miss put up 48 points on Bama, 35 on Fla, 59 on S. Carolina and 42 on Kentucky. Are you saying Bama's DC should be fired? Fla DC fired? And all the rest? O won't listen to you or anyone else at TF thankfully
They racked up yards on everyone Einstein. They racked up more points on Bama than against us. They were # 1 in rushing offense. Ole Miss put up 48 points on Bama, 35 on Fla, 59 on S. Carolina and 42 on Kentucky. Do your damm homework before you post this crap. In your non reasoning Aranda would have had to go since Ole Miss put, up in your mind, too many rushing yards.
Aranda's defense improved after the Ole Miss game last year. I have a feeling Pelini will get another chance starting game one of next year. But right now, I have no problem with him being let go.
