Ah excuse me but A&M is #5 and came within a hair of making the playoff. Let's see who is their QB, mmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think oh Kellan Mond. BTW I admit I was wrong (something lacking here a lot) about him being the best pressure QB in the SEC Burrow deserved that honor last year. Mond is a good QB but you guys hate him cause he beat us 74 to 72. They are at # 5 in large part because Mond is their QB. We now have MJ, MB, TJ (If he stays I predict he won't) and Nussmier coming in along with Walker Howard in 2022 so we may well be talking about the playoffs soon.
I trust O has answers as I have told others here plus Louisiana high schools for once in a long time has a good crop of OL's next year.
Yea because let’s face it Coach O has recruited the skilled position very well. 3 top 5 recruiting classes in his 4 years as HC will start to pay off. We’re definitely back heavy so maybe next year we turn the table and recruit heavily front 7 of defense and front 5 on offense. Only question how does the NCAA sanctions for the next 2 years affect that?
Well we need to stock up now. Keep in mind that we got another DT committed in Bryce Langston. He's listed as a DE but he will be a DT for us. Kid looks mean and nasty and gives us 2 DT's in this class.
This year could be good for us going forward. Now that we’ll have a full season away from that magical 2019 season we can really gain some ground on what needs to be done the next few seasons. Whether it be with coaching and scheme or personnel. It’s clear that the defense improved a little the course of the season.
Maybe not but who else was playing good defense this year? Everyone with a pulse on offense was averaging 28 pints a game. I really think the COVID affected everyone. I know it’s excuses but when you start looking at the forest instead of just the trees it’s easy to see that we didn’t have enough time to work out the kinks early on. Even in 2019 Dave’s defense was more bend don’t break.
Don't understand your rant. Who gives a shit what they do we are talking about Ole Miss's offense. Have a glass of wine settle down
