Be careful here The Brady Bunch will pounce on you. Not bowing down to Brady here is blasphemy. All good points in your post BTW. Brady did help our offense as per O but the complete disregard for E here Is amazing. Oh and fordouchenflush will put you on ignore it's a devestating event in ones life to be ignored by him.
Don't know but when we had all the pieces we won the NC in grand style and E was the OC is what I am saying and that my friend you can't deny.
2020 was a return to O-ball. The worst Defense & Running game in the SEC & bad Offense...kind of like USC. The result a 5-5 record the worst at LSU since 1993, the last time LSU won 5 games. The new OC was a Bama "analyst" for 1 season. Then job-hopped twice in 2 seasons as a RB & QB coach. (Someone say Austin Thomas was back too?)Such similar jobs you know, RB & QB coach. Bottom line, the new LSU OC has never called a Collegiate Offensive play. Is that good? If so, why? Part 3 "Cloning". Personally, have never seen one man be able to duplicate another man's job performance. So Oeaux hired a man to clone another man's job performance from 2 seasons ago. "We done one it all back den in '19, I got nuttin' new rattlin' around, so, weez gonna go back to 2019's earlier & betta Offense, with dis guy I neva heard of. But da BOS talked to him dey said dey taked to Joe Brady, bout him. Neva trusted Brady he done stolted too much of my Thunda! He a Back Stabba like me! Leff me holdin' da bag alone, by myself. Anyhow, dis dude Peetz gonna do what Brady did here at LSU. I Gaurantee! Stop. Geaux Tigers. Stop. I dont know Peetz. But am 100% positive the Oeaux boyz fanz say: "I luv da hire.". "It was the Geert Hammink of hires Coach O!" Peetz has held 14 different Job titles since 2006. Yes, 14 including "Scout". Interesting for a guy that started his Football career as "Special teams coordinator, safeties coach & strength & conditioning coordinator" at Santa Barbara City College. Jack of all Trades it would seem, type of coach/analyst. LSU has been punching down starting with the Oeaux hire. The BOS got exactly 1 right afte that debacle, Joe Brady. (Dont tell @Kikicaca someone hired Oeaux, as he believes Oeaux hired himself, cause he knows erry'body) Scott Long (Dandy don's Liberal son & O apologist) will jump right aboard the Derek Ponamsky 'peace trian' & smoke dat pipe, along with most of Louisiana's sports media types. Hanny, T-Bub, etc. "Great F'ing hire Bro!" 8-9 win,... Hey it's an improvement. Am I right or am I right, or am I right? Well you know who pays...I mean our personal positions" - LABro - talk radio media brahs "Never called a play? Well, one`must consider Covid 19, BLM, Antifa, the polar ice caps melting at an alarming rate, those daggum Trump fans who burned down the Capital & 2 Broke Girls going off the air, a few seasons ago. Dat one chick had big Boobies! I'd like to put some chocolate frosting on her Tatas & geaux to town! Eyeee! (Note to self: retract last 2 sentences later) All in all, I rank the hire a Warren Morris Homerun!" - Scott Rabalais, Button Rouge Advocate
You yourself said that O recently realized while E was OC, Brady was the catalyst (not in those exact words) and it was Brady’s offense. He said that without Brady we regressed (which is to be expected given the loss of talent). But O sees what’s happening in practice and meeting rooms and knows a hell of a lot more than what us fans get to see and know. Id imagine if he is as good a HC as you say he is, he knew enough about the current staffs limitations that he needed to go and get the closest thing he could to Brady to come run that offense at LSU.
