This is what we are trying to explain to him. Ou and Texas are average at best. Along with the rest. It's like winning the big 10. They should play OSU in a bowl to determine 5th or something.
That post (his) is a contradiction in itself. I fear Baylor is going to end up getting an invite to the Fiesta and face Fresno/N. Ill. and we end up with a BCS bowl game worse than the Orange Bowl's Clemson fiasco.
Stanford and Baylor close in on #3 Ohio State in the BCS Rankings. 3. Ohio State..... .8926 4. Stanford........ .8689 5. Baylor............ .8618 Last week, Baylor was .0975 behind Ohio State. They closed nearly 70 % of that gap in just 1 week. It certainly helped that Baylor's biggest win of the year came in a week where Ohio State was on a bye week. Baylor may have an issue jumping Ohio State if Stanford does not lose again. I think Baylor ultimately jumps Stanford in the BCS, but Stanford may wedge themselves in between Ohio State and Baylor in enough human polls and possibly a computer poll or two to prevent Baylor from jumping Ohio State. This could be closer than I anticipated. Baylor still has more impressive wins potentially than Ohio State. Ohio State needs Michigan State to run the table and be ranked in the top 10. That's their saving grace. Nebraska beating Michigan State would be bad news for Ohio State. Remaining opponents (includes conference championship games): Baylor: 26-12 Stanford: 24-17 Ohio State: 21-15 Baylor potentially improves the most in the computer polls.
Now, I will say this, if Baylor runs the table their list will be far more impressive than Ohio State's list. Urban basically assured himself a spot in the 4 team playoff though every year though by taking the Ohio State job.
