Poor coaching job by Payton yesterday. He didn't have the team ready to play at all. They were flatter than Paris Hilton's chest! And Im sure Payton will be the first, if he hasn't already, to admit he was at fault. But in true Payton fashion, i guaran-damn-tee you the Saints will be ready to play against the Giants. Expect a huge game from our offense.

He did in fact take the blame for it. After the game he said the entire team did not seem to be into the game. He said that he has to do a better job of getting them ready.

You're going to have these games during a 16 game season. Payton saw this coming after the huge Dallas win. He had them practice in pads during the week, something they never do during the season. He worked them hard, hoping it would get them focused for the Redskins. It didn't work.

I know he took the blame, but sometimes there's not much you can do as a coach. The bigger question is how they respond this weekend against the Giants. It's a must win for the Giants. Saints already in the playoffs. You have the distractions of Xmas weekend. Big game for the Saints to get the bye week.

You've got to watch those games in which you are heavily favored to win.
They can jump up and bite you in the short and hairy.
