Which is intellectually dishonest in and of itself.

    I have told no lie.

When you post a lie from one side it is implicit that the other side is being truthful. Since neither side is truthful there is no point in calling out lies of either side.

    Of course there are.

Baseless accusation. What you are best at.

That makes your dishonesty even worse. If you tell an objective person in a vaccum that one candidate lies, knowing that both candidates lie then you have deceived that individual.

because I don't like being the 98% of this board who can't type anything with saying Obama, Muslim, Liar, Kenyan, Socialist, Marxist. I'm on the other side. And like I have said before. Lesser of 2 weevils. Clearly Obama.

It's a debate, candy-ass. It's adversarial by nature if not definition. Contentious, in fact.

You said that Lasalle and I "pretend that Obama is being honest in his campaign". I have pretended no such thing. Your statement is, in fact, a lie.

What utter nonsense! You can't possibly be that ignorant. Any party can lie or not lie independently. A lie is a lie and the liar is solely responsible for it. No other party has any involvement. Period.

It is not up to you what others may wish to point out. Stop whining.

We're not in a vacuum, Chumley, we're in a debate. I have deceived no one by informing them of what I believe and can substantiate. It's not my problem if you can't convince and substantiate your position.

Agreed Red, I haven't pretended anything either. I recognize the falsehoods in the Obama administration, but as I have said time and time again, it's clear to me that Obama is the lesser of 2 evils. The major problem I have with Obama is his stance on medical marijuana. What else has he lied about by the way? Did he not do some things he promised in the campaign? It's kind of hard when you have a bunch of children in congress that don't like blackie so they shut down completely. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan lie every time they open their mouths. Even today, Mitt on one show said he would keep parts of Obamacare, on another said he wanted the whole thing repealed. Paul Ryan, told a reporter that he thought the states should make the decisions on medical marijuana. Yesterday says he is against it.

These fucking people will say what whomever the audience that normally views that particular program wants to hear, because they feel the voters who watch fox news aren't going to watch meet the press. But it's cool, some people on here just get their rocks off I guess because their life is so dull fighting against a woman's uterus that they have to start making shit up. Dowatchalike

    Advesrial is not dishonest.

Of course you are. Otherwise there is no point in calling out the other side's dishonesty.

Stop obfuscating things. When you call out the lies of a politician to make a political point, and do not mention that the other side is not honest on the issue you have made no point.

Its not whining to point out the intellectual dishonesty of another person in debate. It reduces the other person's credibility, and calls into question their points, or in your case, bad points.

You are drawing a false distinction, which is intellectually dishonest.

Come on supaFan, I know you are a bright person. I would agree, as would our friends Red and LaSalle, that Obama/Biden are not the truth police but you have to admit that the lies coming out of the Romney/Ryan camp are a little far fetched. My barometer for determining the severity of a lie is how easily it can be debunked and the ones being told by those guys are a google search away from being rebutted.
