I agree homie, its not the bible, its the bible belt, the people down here. Every pot head knows about Genesis 1:12, paraphrasing but it says God said every seed bearing plant is good. Bill Hicks used to say God was high and put weed on earth by mistake, which is why he had to create Republicans.
Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, Poison Sumac and Oleanders are seed bearing plants.:rofl: Just saying. But I agree pot laws are stupid.
BULL!! Thats old, tired, and always has been lame. I and a lot of people I know smoked joints, lots of joints, 40 years ago and never did anything else. We went on to build roads, defend the nation, establish laws, become teachers and preachers and everything else. The concept of gateway drug requires the attribute of addiction. The true gateway drugs of the 60s were Winston and Marlboro. They sunk the hook in me and led me down the long path of beer, malt liquor, Strawberry Hill wine, Scotch, Gin, Goldschlagger (a really bad period of my life) and ultimately (today's version) $50 to $75 a bottle tequila. Damn that pusher man behind the counter of the 7-11 store on the corner of Florida and Sharpe road. WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE PERTECT ME! WHY DID YOU LET HIM SELL ME THAT MARLBORO RED FLIP TOP BOX WITH THE FREE MATCHES!!!:insane: :rofl::rofl:
It is not and has been proven to be not. Alcohol, however, is the gateway drug. It's the one common denominator in any addicts story.
I believe its a gateway drug. That's all that matters to me. The rest can live in their delusional world and pretend it's all incense and peppermints.
Straight from the southern republican handbook, hold your position even if its completely idiotic, and without a shred of merit.
everyone who is interested in harder drugs is gonna try alcohol and pot first. pot doesnt cause those folks to be adventurous, or cause them to move on to hard drugs. i smoked pot, didnt like it, and never did coke or acid or anything else. it wasnt a gateway. if pot is a gateway drug, why isnt alcohol one? people who use drugs are drinkers first.
