    So, all you guys are telling me that if they made alcohol illegal today, you would stop drinking?

    right then the risk is not about the legality, it is about the loss of your job.

    why would you be embarrassed to be arrested for pot? its not immoral, and you wouldnt have been doing anything wrong.

    if alcohol were illegal, i wouldnt be embarrassed at all for getting arrested for having a gin and tonic at a speakeasy. because having a nice gin and tonic is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. same with pot.

    (also we should be realistic and note that you would have virtually zero chance of being arrested for pot. i dont even know anyone who has ever been arrested for pot, and i know people who have been smoking their whole lives.

    I will drink just about anything, except gin. That is the one liquor that just pegs the nasty meter.

    Agreed. And Tanqueray Rangpur (it makes a great martini) is usually sitting on my shelf, along with a long line of clear alcohols. Vodkas, tequilas, rum (sometimes) and gins. AND I MIGHT ADD;

    If it were legal I would have clear jar of buds on the shelf. Which I would use on occasion just like I do the alcohol. What you have to watch with all drugs - and by the way, EVERYTHING can be a drug - is you don't use them very often. All things in moderation.

    The drug I have the most problem controling is food. The stuff is everywhere, and people are always giving out samples trying to get you to use more. In Sam's there is always the guy giving out sausage, "Psst. Hey kid, try this. The first one's free." Then of course it's always followed with "Do you want to buy a bag of sausage".

    It's bad for you, it should be illegal. :D

    You might want to try Hendrick's if you haven't already. It's tasty as well.

    gin was an example. i drink guinness mostly. if it were illegal i would still drink exactly as much, except it would be more fun because i would do it at speakeasies with rad parties and secret code words and sit to get in the door.
