How come the only thing the public really gets to vote on is elections? and some proposals every now and then. Why can't the public vote on this? 81% of Americans support legalizing for medicinal purposes, and around 50% think it should just be legal across the board. And I'm pretty sure there weren't many stoners in that 50%.
My issue is not legalize or not. It's get the freaking FEDERAL govt. out of the picture. Let the states make up their minds.
I have family members that are or have been violent drinkers. Every time they drink wiskey they fight with someone. I have known potheads before. Some older some younger and I have never seen one of them get violent after smoking weed. I think there would be less family abuse if pot was legal and hard liquor wasn't.
There is no applause smiley but if there were, you'd get it. No elected official, from my City Council member to the President, represents me either. I wonder exactly how many of us feel this way?
Very True, can you image the drunk wife and child beater dad, who is stoned instead of drunk? "HEY BOY, GET ME A..... A...... fu** I can't remember what I was thinking about, nevermind.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
