Has there ever been a team that succeeded after betting the farm on one guy? I can only think of failures. Saints giving a ton to draft Ricky Williams. Vikings with Herschel Walker. Redskins and RGIII.
3 picks no better than 20th is not as good as a #1 pick unless it is a weak draft class and if the class was weak the 23 pick would not do that. He will be a Bengal unless he pulls a Eli Manning
the number of great college QBs who've failed in the NFL is staggering,.. and the perennial bad teams are career killers, Joe would be better off if he was picked late in the 1st round
Great QBs come out once every year or three or four. QBs like Joe Burrow come out once in a lifetime. Being the NFL’s first $40 million man versus seeing less than $10 million for being a late pick in the first round is better?
No way the bengals are stupid enough to trade for 3 or 4 picks that will be in the later part of the 1st round.
Never underestimate the stupidity of Mike Brown. I bet if the Panthers pay Scam’s salary he will jump on it. Joe has a better chance to be a Panther unfortunately.
do you think all Burrow cares about is money?.. he will be expected to start next year as the #1 pick, can his line protect him?.. or will he be meat for the other team's defense to chew on?.. can his body hold up if he takes a constant thrashing?.. Or he could end up in a crappy setup like Marcus Mariota did, where he had 5 offensive coordinators in five years. You realize Burrow will get drafted by the worst team in the league, don't you? my opinion is,.. Joe would be better off being drafted late in the round by a good team with stable management, where he can be groomed for a year or two before he becomes the starter oh, and another thing, Rougarou, you can take your insulting little graph and shove it
