Like or dislike isn't part of the equation. Your position is wrong and the electorate proved it. Your failure to understand is of no importance to me.
A third party would be interesting. Not a branch within the 'publicans, like the tea party, but a real, separate party. How would the 'publicans react? Would they try to lean towards the Patriot party or would moderate 'publicans be left behind as the more Trumpier 'publicans leave? Maybe a libertarian view fills the empty seats.
My position was that the Democrats got more popular & electoral votes than the Republicans. A couple of very simple facts which you are unable to grasp or comprehend. Not surprising.
What you fail to include or understand is i have yet to find a single person that has said "man, that Joe Biden is the way to go, what a guy" No it was all votes against Trump. That my friend is the problem.
A lot of people would argue that the Trump vote in '16 was in fact a vote against Clinton. But when push came to shove, the GOP couldn't run from Trump fast enough. The Dems may not be 100% behind Biden, but they won't abandon him either. That's the big difference between the two parties; Reps can't wait to throw their own under the bus. This is why a new party, which will serve mostly to split the conservative vote, would be a disaster. The Dems will spend the next two years shoring up their power base to ensure they never lose power again. A new party could never build its base fast enough to prevent this.
Are you sober? Are you unable to comprehend that a vote against Trump was a vote FOR Biden? And lastly, how many people have you talked to? One?
I think they are a complete mess. There isn't much unity within that party. You have crazy Nancy, you have the aoc radicals and ultimately the dems that are more centrist and none of them like the other.
The Dems occupy the White House & have the majority in the House & the Senate. And you call the party a mess? You appear to have lost whatever small grasp of reality you had.
