Best player on defense this year. Rahim Alem, 2nd best player on defense this year. Thank goodness, they come back next year. As for the rest of the defense, All need to improve. What the hell has happened to Chad Jones?
Alem better start acting smart though. A little too much showboating, and absolutely no excuse to kick the ball, whether the officals blew the call or not (delay of game, not unsportsmanlike conduct). :geauxtige
Patrick really impressed me this year. They threw at him a lot today but he showed he was as good as advertised. I thought during the game it'll be ashamed that he's only here three years.
peterson is good and shows alot of promise, but he still gets beat regularly, he will learn better technique with time especially how to use his hips. i don't know that i'd call him the best we have on defense, but the future looks bright for him.
Alem should have been benched for the rest of the game after punting the football, but why start disciplining now?
He's following the example by the upperclassmen around him. Cant blame him towing the line being laid down by our "leaders".
1) Will Alem be our kicker next year? 2) Alem is very good, but acted like a dumbazz today 3) Sheppard did more than most guys on a regular basis this year and looks very promising for the future. Peterson will be very good (had a great game today), but got torched last week. 4) Chad Jones doesn't do anything because of LSU's crappy scheme. If you let the guy blitz, etc., he's awesome. But we leave him sitting back where there is no action with our passive D. He's still a very good player looking to be used.
