Why do you think he was practicing with the 1st team offense then, chief.

Our line is much more stout and shutting down RB's before they get to him.

He was up against one of the best (JJ) and the advantage goes to the receiver since HE KNOWS where he's running. Once PP was playing the fade route and JJ cut to the middle and had a step on him. Peterson's not allowing a lot of yard after the catches that are completed on him and what he did vs. Trent Richardson was brute strength.

To grab a back like TR and stop him and almost deny him getting in is a feat not many could perform.

And all this is not to say I'm disagreeing with you, necessarily. Just pointing those things out.

Another great point and why PP didn't "standout" so much.

You're not the only one who thinks that way. I heard a couple of talking heads say the same thing today.

I know alot of people think he got lit up by JJ. He did have 10 catches, but PP did hold him to >100 yards because most of them were underneath. In addition, PP did a great job of limiting his YAC. On that back shoulder throw, Deion Sanders couldn't have broken that one up. It was just a good play. Finally, on the TD pass, PP's timing was off by a millisecond or he would've deflected that pass.

I have a friend who taught Tharold and he pronounces it with a long "i".

I think we will see PP on the offense before years-end.
