I was telling anyone who'd listen that the Bama game was going to be the game that we finally saw PP on offense. I think that he would have been great to use on the "river left" play that DeAngelo Peterson ran, but then again Saban and company would probably have seen it coming had #7 entered the game at that point....or at the very least they would've known that SOMETHING was up. Anyways, maybe his offensive play was in the chamber and we didn't need it. Maybe not. Do any of you think that we'll see #7 play offense this season?
To be honest with you, I think his play at corner has slipped a bit from last year, and i think it's because he is returning punts and kicks. I may be nuts, but he isn't making tackles like last year. Now maybe it's because they are keeping the ball away from his side of the field, but he was alot more involved in the Defense as a whole last season. So i guess my answer would be no, and honestly i would like to see him on D only.
I agree. This isn't the 20's. People don't play Ironman anymore. Take a lesson from Canes - One Love, Baby!
Yeah, I had heard that...but even then I really didn't believe it. He's a natural corner, and that's where he'll make his mark.
To be honest there really isn't much of a point now, although it would be cool to see, maybe this weekend against ULM.
Nah. If they do it, it will be in a pivotal game in a pivotal situation, IMO. They wouldn't want to show their cards during the ULM game. Maybe keep that card up their sleeve for an Arky.
I think he better focus on defense. I know he is a "god" on the forum, but he was burned a number of times Saturday. Yeah, he was up against the best as well, but to be the best, you have to beat the best. He did not.
I know how you guys feel about PP....his first two or three games looked like all pro....not lately...imo............
