Patrick Peterson is the best football player in the United States of America right now

Those are some pretty good words for Peterson. I was wondering if it was just my LSU-goggles that made me think this way, so it's nice to read unbiased (hopefully) sources saying the same thing.

Pat Pete's a beast! There's a lot of hype right now about whether or not he'll be considered for the Heisman. But he doesn't have to win the Heisman. In fact, I'm not going to get my hopes up about that... at all. Because it just rarely happens for defensive players.

Instead, I'm going to enjoy watching this kid while he's in a Tiger uniform. We're lucky to have it this good.

We as fans need to spend more time focusing on the positive aspects of the team. Even if other teams aren't fearful of our O, at least they will be when it comes to our D and ST.

That's the only thing about the TIgers that I WOULD place $$ on.

Probably the best Football Player ever to wear the purple and gold.

We're lucky to have him - a fine recruiting job, n'cest pa? :geaux:

I do not disagree but since they don't throw his way and will eventually start punting out of bounds, what are we gonna do. -- Personally, since we are going to run the fricking option every game, why don't we line up him in the backfield and let Sheppard run the option.

Nothing against what Ridley is doing but dang, our offense is struggling - come up with something offensively that will add some excitement. Heck, if it doesn't work, we can go 3 and out like we have been.

But..but...but..but...Geno Smith threw for 8 zillion yards on Patrick Peterson in high school... At least that was the story according to WVU fans.

Hope we win with him this year because he's probably NFL bound. Sure would love to see a D with Mathieu as one lock down corner and PP as the other.
