Isn't that the truth, at times JPW had all day to throw the ball.

here's the way I see it. Julio jones may be the best receiver in college football. Yes, it's true. That guy is unbelievable and Petersen played him well all night. I'm very excited about him in the future and terrified of Jones.

Julio Jones scared the hell out of me.
Imagine him and Tim Tebow on the same team!

He and AJ Green are the future, no doubt.

But these guys are nowhere near the level of Crabtree, Bryant and Maclin as of yet. Still need a little polishing.

Gonna be fun watching Peterson next season against those 2 guys.

The defense played better because the offense they played is mediocre.

Yeah, I think everyone needs to keep this in perspective.

Did they play better tonight? Most certainly.

But in context they still gave up 350 yards offense and against a team that isn't great offensively.

Still no pass rush to speak of, our achilles heel.

But I'll take this as a positive tonight overall, nonetheless.

The passion was back. No arguing that.

Do I think we still replace the DCs. Most certainly.

Danny McCray was guarding Julio Jones one on one and Bama nearly burned us on one particular play.

That's all you need to know.

Julio really hasn't had that breakout game yet...

Sure, he has had some great games, but JPW has just overthrown him on some longballs. I do believe he dropped a few balls tonight and one was a perfectly thrown ball by JP. Figures. lol

Julio is just a competitor. Word is that he's very coachable and humble also. his ablility to break tackles and drag defenders is just uncanny. IF we can sway Randle our way and also snag Kendall Kelly......wow for that future recieving corps with a QB in Star Jackson that also has wheels.

Him and Hawkins have been playing lights out all season long!!!!!!!

Peterson I think is gonna be one of those players that only comes along so often and will be the leader of the defense that Jack Hunt was just with more talent!

This kid is gonna be good.

Just watching him run his routes you can tell that he has a head for the position!
