Yes, Peterson is looking very promising. Can't wait to see him next season - he'll be a real game-changer! :geaux:
So physical and yet has speed to burn. The interception tonight was a DB coach's dream. So technically sound. And he had another one that he just didn't anticipate that would have probably helped LSU win the game tonight. I look forward to see LSU having 2 cover corners that we can blitz effectively like the good ole days.
That would be false. He played it about as well as you can play it, Jones has just got 3-4 inches on him and the ball was placed perfectly to the sideline.
I was so happy with his play and the play of the defense. They played much better than previous games.
Good to see the D play well vs the #1 team. PP looked great. Bodes well for the future. Definitely some growing pains this year. :geauxtige
That could be like the Woodson-Boston matchup. I thought Eugene also played very well for the most part.
I am happy enough with the play of our 3 best CBs this season. The lack of an effective blitz scheme is disappointing, given the fact that we have been able to cover receivers well enough to warrant some big impact plays. But then that goes back to the poor DC gameplans and coaching.
