I thought it ridiculous when I seen the names for the finalist for the Thorpe Award and Petersons name wasnt on it. He is the best CB Ive seen this year. Haden is a great player but I dont think he is as good as Peterson. The only thing that might hurt Peterson is that no one even looked to throw his way most of the season. Which shows how great he is. The last two games he was a bit off, allowing some passes on him and making mistakes. I just think that it went with the lost of focus by the team as a whole. Still, he should be a definite first teamer.

Maybe that was last year's team. Ciron Black on the first team?

Even more insulting is that three LSU O-Linemen made it...

Patrick Peterson is the best cornerback in the country. He could have easily started in the NFL for a number of teams this season.

Haden is probably faster, arguably as good in coverage and pretty physical for a guy his size. I think a lot of you guys are selling him short.

Peterson is an animal, easily the best player we have, but it's still ok to give credit to an opposing player from time to time. Haden is very good, and deserves a lot of the pub he's gotten. When Peterson is a junior next year, he should enjoy similar discussion and recognition.
