Julio should be able to physically dominate Joe Haden. Now can McElroy get Julio the ball is the question, just keep it high back shoulder.
well, within the context of LSU's defense, if peterson wasn't there... the whole chemistry would be gone. i wouldn't risk that.
On the peterson side of it, Haden is going to have to shut Julio out just to make it a stand off. Not going to happen. G-Mac needs to sling it his way, being open is just a plus.
Joe Haden is a great football player, but he is undersized, dude is 5'11 190. Big physical wide receivers should have this guy's number. Anyone remember Ron Brooks putting Haden's dick in the dirt on a kick return in TS this season? One of the only highlights for us Tiger fans.
Well, even if he's snubbed across the board, he seems to thrive on people doubting him. They doubted he could handle Green and Jones. He did. Both scored touchdowns...against other defenders. The only TD I remember scored on him was Hodge with Ole Miss...and I might be wrong even on that one. He blew the McCluster pass TD but that was a well designed play. Imagine that dude next year after an accolade snub?
I agree. Haden has the numbers and the publicity. I would like to see how the coaches vote on this matter, as they know who they are planning their offense around and who they're not throwing to... And Ciron Black as a 1st teamer? Uhh no offense but just confirms that this is more about publicity and preseason hype than anything, as these things usually are.
