Peterson was wrong for the penalty. You know how the refs call that crap, so dont do it. That said, I LOVE his cocky attitude. I think its these stupid old prudes who want to take all the fun out of the game that are ruining football. If someone wants to dance or talk smack they should be able to. Its a game of emotion, dont take that aspect away. Granted some things are a bit overboard. Also it should be policed by the team when someone is talking smack or over celebrating a play when you getting you a$$ handed to you.

Peterson did everything you could ask for in that game. The OL and DL didnt do a good job controlling the line of scrimmage. The tackling as piss poor. The play calling was horrendous when LSU had a chance early in the third to get a nice lead. Instead the play calling went back to the predictable, conservative BS. You play like that you deserve to lose. Thats why Ark won, because they coached to win. Plus their players wanted it more.

Another thing Peterson did, was not clear his guys out on a punt that went off of one of our player's foot.

This is the first time I am looking at a computer since the loss...

    A couple of points here:

Karnell Hatcher is to blame for that play in the last six seconds. Whether we were in Prevent Defense or not, ALL WE NEEDED WAS A TACKLE...but he was trying to deliver a hit that would put him on sportscenter highlights. I'd make Hatcher do a lot of tackling drills if I were Miles.

I predicted 10-2 before the season, I'm glad that we won all those close games all season to make me look real smart, but I consider my absolutely correct prediction dumb luck.

Herb, You're my brother and I love you man, but if Patrick Peterson comes looking to split your wig after reading your post....I'M SPLITTING !! Sorry, bro :yelwink2:.

The touchdown right before the half is ALL on Miles. He jumped a snake when Arky missed that FG and he should have taken a knee right there. Plus, they didn't calculate the time to realize that with Arkys time outs we'd have to make a 1st down or give the ball back. I'm sure Les has learned a valuable lesson here. It sure did ruin my halftime.

I liked his not being conservative. After an interception we get the ball With 50 seconds left, Ridley picked up a 20 yard gain. Being near midfield, I liked the aggressiveness.

After Ford got 4 leaving 25 seconds the two pass plays -Jefferson throws 2 incomplete passes- and we give them the ball back. Maybe one more run then a pass would've better utilized the clock but go for it, yeah.

Had Arky adhered to that philosophy and taken a knee it would've cost them the game. We had momentum, it would have been huge.

Had Miles knelt on it there'd be some complaining about him not "playing to win"; "content to sit on a tie"...

What he said. That freshman who played the second half shut down that show.

That's true Red, but Fredo didn't have to potentially go up against a ticked off 6'4" Patrick Peterson...

Family Jewels trumps Family Honor anyday !!! :hihi:

    It was huge.

Fans complain about Miles? No way.

Les tried to be aggressive with 50 seconds left and it almost cost us. When he got the ball back the 2nd time the prudent thing would have been to take the tie into the locker room and get the 2nd half kickoff. This isn't hindsight. I was pretty vocal after the missed FG by Ark.

Yeah that's true. Being we got the ball first after half we could've taken that momentum into half and continue it on our first poss.
