Yup and no matter who else we got in this class....no question about it he would be the stud of this class...thats how good he is.
If all the things being said about him are true, then there is no doubt that he will start alongside Jai Eugene at CB as a true freshman.
Oh, he could start because he IS that good. He has a scheduled visit to USC on Dec. 1st so there is still time and I believe he'll continue to be somewhat "open" to discussion. Randy Shannon gets the last visit though and that's a strong advantage.
looks like we are hot on his trail, I hope we can get him from UM. I'm betting he'd rather play at LSU, with a chance at a NC quicker than at UM. I also believe that CJones success at safety, has opened recruits eyes. And to how early that can be on the field, and a Factor in a Huge Game on National TV.
Agreed because that is one of Julio Jones biggest factors is that he wants to play his freshman year.
Julio Jones would play as a freshman at any school in the country. I think if Johnson comes in. He will be at least the nickel CB if not the starter. I personally see it as, like I said before, Eugene and Johnson starting with Phelon Jones or Hawkins as the nickel guys. I wonder how Francois fits into the secondary But of course, I'm getting ahead of myself, Johnson coming here isn't a given yet.
The guy he would have to pass that has also not seeing playing time is Phelon Jones, and I do not see that happening. From all things I have heard I expect Phelon to be a serious contender to start next year.
