Is anyone reading this? I've read all three entries so far and I'm fired up. He talks a lot about the effort, attitude and unity of this LSU football team; their practice routines, drills, etc. I really recommend it. It's a good read. The quote he references by Vince Lombardi ... I love it... "Winning is not a sometimes thing; it's an all the time thing". Fired up!!! :crystal: :geaux: :crystal: :geaux: :crystal:
He seems to be a very decent writer, lots of heart in those pieces. You can also get a sense of him settling down into a daily rythm. Makes you proud to be a Tiger.:thumb:
Agreed, Patrick is a good writer and I find it an enjoyable read. He represents the Tigers well. But I hope we only get to see Patrick a couple times on Jan 7!
Patrick and another guy came to the 11:30 mass at St. Jude last Sunday. They came in a little late and left right after communion. Father mentioned the BCS game and everyone wanting a ticket and they looked at each other. I said, "Peace be with you , Patrick." and then the same thing to the other guy but I thought he was Mitt Cole. But it wasn't Mitt. I thought it was cool seeing him at mass. He sure is tall (and cute if I were 20 years younger...) and he writes well. I love reading his blog and seeing what those hard working guys do. Okay that is the conclusion of my little Tiger sighting.:geaux:
there seems to be an odd trend going that we pick the smallest whitey to do our writing in these big games...:yelwink2:
Patrick is 6'5 and the biggest colliegate kicker in the nation. At least that is what I heard at Bengal Belles Football 101. He does write well.
