Congrats! I can only dream what it will be like to post my 1000th post.:hihi: I am sure I will find something truly remarkable to post about. Maybe it will be concerning our third straight National Championship in football and Sheppard's Heisman trophy acceptance speech. One can only dream I guess.:thumb:
You would be surprised how many new members we get over here if :helmet: is having a good season, they will come here and say how much they have always loved LSU! and just yap and yap. I live in a small town and every year  does well, I will see more and more people wearing LSU! stuff. Then when we have a off year, you never see anything LSU! on them. So to answer your question, yes there are a lot of bandwagoners, but so do all of the other college teams.
Bandwagon fans are like people who complain about how we need to bomb Iraq, and then end up in Canada if there was a draft.
LOL, it's really not about post counts. I just HAPPENED to notice so I slipped a :hihi: in there! I just wanted to post this because a friend of mine and I were talking about how we noticed so many people we knew suddenly talk about how LSU sucks last year and how they're not watching the game because "they're just gonna lose!" It made feel good, like a true fan, that I never lost hope. We can call them "fan dodgers"!
well, we did kinda suck last year. on multiple occasions last year, I serriously contemplated throwing myself over the ledge of Death Valley during games. Over course I also gave serious thought of pitching that Bama fan over during that game this year too. still went to the games though. hell, I made through the Archer/Hallman/DiNardo years. '08 was a walk in the park compared to some of those seasons in the '90s.
DiNardo... oooh. I almost threw myself off at the Ole Miss game last year. Especially since my Ole Miss buddy was sitting next to me yelling Tiger Bait. I did, however, have a heart attack and die for about 30 minutes while listening to the Troy game on the radio
considered doing that myself, but it was so phucking cold in that stadium, i decided it was best not to move around much.
Being in Alabama, I get it from the other side. After such a long and prolific run, opponents will take shots at the first opportunity they get. I don't guess I blame them, though, since those opportunities are so few and far between! :crystal::crystal:
No, the absolute best is when Miss St fans ask me, "what the hell happened to LSU last year?" I just respond with something about a winning record and a huge bowl win. And then I show them a picture of Shep!
