I can't remember who it was (Corso maybe?), but someone compared the Big 10 as a cross between the MAC and C-USA. Speaking of Corso, can you believe he was still pining for USC in the AP? Irrelevant now, but garbage nonetheless.

just because he said you have to be able to handle criticism doesn't meant that you can't use it as motivation. granted, it didn't work real well, but i don't think he's saying you don't use it, you just can't believe it.
Yeah, hate Herbie if you will, but he was instrumental in getting LSU to #2 that last weekend of play, when he said LSU should be deserving of playing for the championship based on its entire body of work. That opened the floodgates on this "body of work" concept and the rest is history. Remember, he said it during the OU game, in which OU was owning a very good Missouri team. The guy has not held back on his opinion about how down the Big10 is and has been (and he's an OSU alum). I am not much of a Herby fan, but for this I have to give him his props. Corso, on the other hand, is irrelevant. He just simply plays the part of the ESPN mascot, a stooge. He reminds me of counselor Macky on Southpark (pointed face). Ummm kay. Lou Holtz. Come on. And as long as teams are forced to play within a system like the BCS without a playoff, it SHOULD be based on the entire body of work. That's why it's annoyed me to no end to see UGA whining about how they're really the #1 team, but want everyone else to forget that the first half of their season ever happened. Chris Fowler made an excellent point at the end of GameDay, saying that USC fans have very little right to complain, since it's their conference along with the Big 10 who are dead set against a +1 or any other type of playoff format.
You can already order the NC game on LSUSport.net. I tried, but for some reason it kept bouncing me out. I got so frustrated I will just get it from another source. Maybe Academy Sports. I ordered my NC hoodie, T-shirt and hat without a problem.
