Looking at all the talent Les Miles has that is on this team, I can't help but notice how young most of them are.I went back and looked at the draft classes and saw how many of the 2009-2010 kids are actually starting and playing signifacant time.
    2009 class has an amazing 14 players.Players like Ford,Logan,Montgomery,Loston,Brockers,Downs,Mingo,Minter,Randle,Shepard,Faulk,etc..
2010 class has Ware,Reid,Simon,Wing,Wright,Boone,Blue,Mathieu and Adams.

After looking at this I'm wondering is this two classes the best classes back to back ever at LSU?
    and
Do you think people will ever say that Les Miles can only win with Saban's Players again?lol.:helmet:

Yeah, when that class was finalized, you knew immediately it was gonna be a damn good one.

The '06 class (ranked #7) produced 6 draft picks.

'07 Class was pretty disappointing in retrospect (considering it was ranked #4 on Rivals). Barksdale, Drake Nevis, D-Byrd, & Ridley were all drafted. Current contributors: Jarrett Lee, Will Blackwell, T-Bob Hebert, Stefoin Francois, & Mitch Joseph. Blackwell is the only one with a chance of being drafted, IMO - bringing the assumed total to 5 for the class.

Our worst class since '06 might be the 2008 Class (ranked #11), which had Ryan Baker, Lavar Edwards, Karnell Hatcher, Jordan Jefferson, Patrick Peterson, PJ Lonergan, DeAngelo Peterson, & Brandon Taylor. PP2 already drafted, and I see 3 more draft picks out of that group - bringing the total to 4 assumed draft picks.

The 2009 Class (ranked #2), on the other hand, has as about 12 future draft picks.

The 2010 Class (ranked #6) has probably 9 or 10 future draft picks.

The '09 & '10 classes have DEFINITELY been the best of Miles' career at LSU.

I did forget about Chad Jones, and yea - there are several role players, but few dominant ones.

The class of '07 wasn't terrible, just not near as good as the past 2. Same thing with the '08 class. There are good players in there, but plenty of busts and not deep with top talent.
