It makes a huge difference. You guys think he hasn't been given a chance and he has played more qb at this point than probably 99.9 % of any true freshman at LSU. He will play when he has earned it in the coaching staffs eyes and apparently he hasn't earned it.
No, I am only saying that Harris has not been given an EQUAL chance that Jennings has. This is not apples to apples we are discussing, I hope you realize that. Jennings sat behind Mett. all year. A QB who was a 5th year senior and is now (as of this weekend) a starter in the NFL. Jennings 1st start was a bowl game against Iowa with really no implications. Harris has been behind a true sophomore who cant complete more than 50% of his passes and understand that LSU has more than one receiver. Then his 1st start was against the defensing SEC Champion on the road in Auburn with the weight of the season on the line. In no way on this beautiful green earth can anybody say that these 2 have been given the same opportunity. I'll agree 100 times over again that neither are ready this year, but to compare the 2 and say they have both been given their opportunity and its equal is complete and total bullshit, no disrespect.
That Harris has NOT been given an equal opportunity to beat out Jennings. My entire point, thanks for the assist.
So I guess that since we as fans do not get paid to make these decisions, that means that we cannot have an opinion on the matter on a forum in which we are supposed to discuss our opinions?
Well I agree that it appears Jennings is all we have at the moment. If we base it solely on the Auburn game (and that's all we can) Harris just isn't ready yet. But hopefully he improves and is our future. Hell hopefully Jennings improves and we beat Ole Piss. Geaux Tigers
