Good reason for doubt. It was a sophomore...........in grade school. Tim Floyd Signs 14-year-old to USC OK, USC didn't actually sign the kid who doesn't even know what high school he's going to go to yet, but they did accept his oral commitment to come to the university once he is eligible. The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that 5'10" Ryan Boatright was impressed by second-year Trojan head coach Tim Floyd. I could be wrong but I'd bet that junior commits are more common in BBall than football.
Basketball is way different. All schools get commitments from guys that are at every age in high school. The middle schooler is a little different.
At 6-7, 325, he's a BIG boy. I've read he's consistently ran a 5.0 in the 40 but that doesn't say a thing about how quick his first step is. A NT in that size range could clog the middle up nicely.
heck fluker at 6-7 325lbs who cares if he can run.....if he his hand eye is good coordination is good and has good feet put him on the offensive line all we need him to do is pancake guys and be able to pull for a 5 yard block ig the guys is any kind of athletic and shows and ounce of ability you got to sign him cuz that kinda specimen doesnt come along everyday
Allow me to translate. Fluker is 6'7" 325 lbs., so who cares if he can run or not. If he has good hand-eye coordination and good footwork, then you can put him on the offensive line as all the team needs him to is pancake D-Linemen and be able to pull for a 5 yard block. If the player shows even an ounce of athletic ability, you have to sign him because a physical specimen such as him does not come along everyday.
