Where are the best and safest places to park for the game? I went to the Sugar Bowl last year but I parked at the Hotel and took a cab. This year I plan on driving back home after the game so I'll need a place to park.

There's parking garages everywhere. If you don't want to wait 2 hours or longer to leave, DON'T park in the Superdome garage. I usually park at the hotel and take a cab, but your other option would be to park in the New Orleans Centre garage (although I'm not sure if it's still open) and walk from there. :thumb:

I think the N.O. Centre's garage is reopened, but the New Orleans Centre itself. For the OU BCS game, I parked in the freaking riverbend, partied all the way down St. Charles vis-a-vis the Street car, and then walked from up Poydras from St. Charles to the Dome. No problems. But if you don't have time for that, just park in a garage or lot a few blocks away from the Dome and you'll be good to go! :thumb:
