For the life of me, I can't remember who the hell Ray Zellars was. And I was as much of a Who Dat back then as I am now.
Zellars was a fullback from Notre Dame who played late in the Mora era. Pretty sure that game was the only time he went over 100 yards.
Sad part about it is if it were played in Green Bay you could reverse the win and the score...and that starts at the top with DB.
WTF? Are you just a super negative person? I mean they won a game against a super quality opponent in convincing fashion, but you want to relish in and try to validate your opinion that our QB is in a decline and predict that the game would have had a different outcome if it was played away? Try enjoying the moment. I'll be watching them putting together a win streak tonight against Carolina and see if DB can continue his improved play over the past few weeks. I'll certainly be rooting for that outcome.
Saints are 2 1/2 point favorite but I can't understand why. Its a road game. The Saints are Home Warriors
see what happens is, when an athlete nearing retirement has off games or the team struggles for numerous reasons, the experts have to say said qb's arm is gone, he no longer has it etc. see peyton manning. how many had written him off during his offseason surgeries? everyone. then to cover their ass when he returned, said he had no arm strength left. and of course average joe parrots everything they hear from the tv. it becomes the truth somehow. yet hes somehow having the best years of his career. oh its simply his brain. now hes suddenly smarter. brees and the saints struggle on the road. brees has had bad games of late. teams are cyclical like the stockmarket. and the saints are no different.
