Pack the PMAC Wed. at 7pm--LSU vs. Vandy--Senior Night

I commented on this in another thread, but thought this deserved one of its own.

For everyone who hasn't been keeping up, the LSU men's basketball team, which started the season with everyone thinking they would finish behind Alabama in the West, is now the regular season SEC champion with a 25-4 overall record and 13-1 SEC record. LSU is now ranked #12 in the AP, #11 in the ESPN/USA Today polls. Coming from a team that finished 13-18 last season, this is an amazing accomplishment.

Today I am asking all LSU fans to fill the PMAC to capacity Wednesday night as the team hosts Vandy and celebrates senior night. The SEC championship banner will also likely be displayed. This team's seniors have been absolutely essential to the success it has enjoyed this year, and the team as a whole deserves the support of the entire LSU community. I'm asking those of you can get their hands on tickets to come out and show your appreciation for this team. Season ticketholders, if you can't make it, give your ticket to someone who can. Students, tickets are free. Get the word out. While we've had good attendance for the big games, we have yet to completely fill the PMAC. I'm asking everyone to help sell the place out Wednesday night, your Tigers deserve it! (gets off soapbox) :LSU231:LSU!:lsup:

Btw, the pmac was packed for the xavier game. We set the attendence record in the new seating layout.

 

The game is on radio and TV, but it's a Cox Sports Tape Delay (pre-empted by ladies softball, of all things)

 

Looks like Q and Bo are gonna have to sit out the Vandy game, per today's Reveille:

That sucks, but I'm confident LSU can still win. I want to see Storm get some more PT, and this might help that. We need his size in the tourney.

 

I sure do wish I could be there, but for those of us that are out of towners (waaay out of towners...Birmingham) is the game not nationally televised? There is a station listed on LSUSports.net I'm just not sure which one it is.
