What would be sweeter would be for Oregon State to run the table in the Pac 10 thereby claiming the "championship" and in the process destroying USC's hope of playing for the MNC even if they win out.
Mastermind is right. It's all just an excuse. And we should expect no different from a coach. He won't indict himself. But the media should, and they won't. Would Miles have gotten a pass for consecutive losses and would the media whine LSU into contention, every single year? I really don't think so, and in another month, when the SEC is done bitch slapping each other, OSU and USC will be creeping back up in the polls(USC might not even fall out of the Top 10), and the media excuses you heard yesterday will come up again. We can only hope for a second loss for USC that exposes them. But even with that, what's the worst that will happen to them? Go to another Rose Bowl(how pathetic has this bowl become?), destroy another sacrificial lamb, finish in the Top 5, whine again about how good they really were and nobody wants to play them. It's so tiresome to see year after year.
Somebody is going to make fun of that on Gameday tomorrow and we'll all get a good laugh. How stupid does he think we are?
I will be shocked if they do. Ohio State is currently 13th at 3 - 1. You have to think they won't be dropped out even though they should.
