The Bills should have taken him. I told my dad that after the UNC game since I knew the Bills would be in position to take him. Instead they took another bum from Alabama. Maybe they will get a few more games out of him than they did the bum from Penn State. Puzluzney or whatever.
Revis and Asomugha are 1a and 1b in the NFL in terms of corners right now and many feel Nnamdi is better than Revis.
The talk-radio stations here in AZ love Peterson. Nothing but great things said about him throughout training camp regarding his skills, physical ability and work-ethic. They had him rooming in camp with Adrian Wilson who took him under his wing and is teaching him how to play the NFL game. He returned a kickoff in the first pre-season game that turned some heads, so yes, he should be returning kicks this season. I love seeing him and Early Doucet on the same team. At one point last night Peterson returned a kick and Hester was in on the tackle for SD....pretty cool connections there.
His advantage is going to be that his ball skills are better than about 99.9% of the rest of the corners in the league. If his coverage skills translate to the NFL, which they certainly should, we'll be talking about him amongst the best in a couple of years. That jersey number is foretelling. Teams don't throw at Revis or Asomugha (sp?) because they blanket their guys in man. When teams stop throwing at PP, it'll be because he blankets his guys in man AND because he will pick you off and house it. This guy is going to be special at this level. Hope he's got that cramping issue under control.
His acceleration once he has the ball is simply unreal. Watching that return was highly reminiscent of his kick returns last year.
