ESPN just announced that if Miles is offered the Michigan job he will take it. That runs counter to what we are hearing here. I hope ESPN is wrong again, but I wonder if anyone has heard anything of substance.
Let me be a bit more clear Les Miles does not deserve any increase in pay or a contract extension based on what has transpired the past 3 seasons. He really hasn't even earned his current paycheck.
Do you think that alleva has a coach waiting to come in tomorrow if miles leaves today? The rumor mill said pelini was the likely choice. I have a hard time beliving that miles will turn down Michigan twice. I would like to think that alleva is trying to hold on to miles but also would hope we have a plan to not just bring in someone quick but to get a damn strong hire that wants to be here. I know there is a lot of coaches fans would like to come here if miles leaves but is there anyone that lsu has spoken to ? I hope alleva has a search party working on this just in case.
