    my 2 cents,

2010 Ducks, vs 2010 Tigers, opinions,
2011 Ducks, vs 2011 Tigers, opinions, all good, but just opinions

There is a HUGE difference between 2010 and 2011, this we know. Different coaches, players, opponents, potential injuries, and luck are probably the biggest factors. Our opinions aren't going to change anything. Screw opinions, lets talk specifics, lets talk nuts and bolts football.

LaDuck, relax, these are mostly friendly people, some are pushing your buttons, don't respond. Your in depth football posts are great, your others not as good.

Tiger fans understand, you are not the worst, but SEC fans even
when trying to be gracious always end the conversation by touting "SEC superiority". Even if true, this amounts to sticking your thumb in our eye. It's hard to take, and after enduring SEC fans repeatedly pissing on our conference, it's almost impossible to remain nice about it.

Thus, we respond with easy statements/arguments about the SEC.

OOC cupcakes, with very few road games, inflate SEC team rankings.
CBS favors the SEC driving up their rankings
ESPN favors the SEC driving up their rankings
Inflated team vs Another inflated team = a very inflated ranking
NCAA has it's home in the south, so they favor the SEC.
BCS has it's home in the south, so they favor the SEC.
Sure, the SEC has won five BCS's in a row
-they always have a team in the championship game
-because of all of the above
SEC teams are cheaters, all of them, in all ways, and always have been.

I think this is a load of crap, but so is what I hear about the PAC.

Every year the PAC has 1 or 2 very good to great teams, with maybe 4 or 5 other good teams that could compete competitively with about anyone.

I think the SEC has more, I give you that, but please just quit talking s*it about my mom!

Ducks and Tigers in Dallas, oh my!

Bottom line, I think this is going to be one hell of a game! One of the top offensive teams in the nation vs. one of the top defensive teams. We'll know more once our teams hit summer workouts, and gear towards the season.

Here's to more cordial conversations. Cheers!

“OOC cupcakes, with very few road games, inflate SEC team rankings. “

LOL go look at LSU, Bama, UGA, Ark, AU and a few other teams and show me the OOC cupcakes….

Almost every SEC team plays 1-2 good OOC teams….

“SEC teams are cheaters, all of them, in all ways, and always have been.”

What about USC? They have packed the Pac10’s chit in for the past 10 years and they just got busted for what??

    Oh yea….

    Get real kid..

Is this the best you got?

In LSU's entire football history, we've undergone exactly one, count 'em, one major NCAA investigation.

Which is one more than what the best school in this regard in your conference has, Stanford.

LSU's penalty for that one investigation, which occurred twenty-five years ago? Nothing, except a one year probationary monitoring period.

And as far as accusing other SEC schools of cheating, someone should teach you about glass houses...

...because right now, things don't look very good for your Ducks.

Yes the news about the Ducks is troubling, it's kind of ruined my spring and summer.

Read my post again, you will see that you misunderstood my point.

We have a conference pride that you find difficult to understand. But you must accept it. You can be proud of the PAC-12 if you wish, I don't mind. But when the SEC is called overrated it pokes a thumb in our eye and we can offer an awful lot to suggest that it is not. And we will.

Your pal on this thread has been pulling our chain for weeks about this, you know.

If I were a Pac-10 fan, I would just be thankful that there is no football tournament at the end of the season. The national championship game would constantly look like the baseball national championship game this season.
