I'm not a cop, so I don't know shit about the tactics involved in locating an active shooter and I understand that officer safety is a priority, but an hour and 12 minutes just seems like entirely too long.
So sad. I got the news alert on my phone of an active shooter in Las Vegas via a news app just before falling asleep. I was hoping it was a misidentification or error, or at the least that the death toll would be minimal. Waking up to see the headlines was just so disheartening. I'm heading to Vegas at the end of the month for a concert at an indoor venue. So quite different. But, man.
Yes, there are ways to swap them over depending on the particular manufacturer, non of which are legal.
I know guys, but the initial reports were automatic weapons fire, not modified. Now they are saying otherwise. Plus if you listen to the videos you can hear it skip and spurt.
Now pictures and bios of the dead are coming out. This morning I saw beautiful, professional women among the murdered. http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/02/us/las-vegas-shooting-victims/index.html
This guy had some sort of death wish, stockpiled guns and wanted to go out as a famous criminal out doing his dad. I'll never say his name and I wish the press would eliminate his name. Make no mistake about it; this guy was a terrorist. Just because he was an American not affiliated with any particular cause doesn't make him less despicable.
