Fail. We've had a glaring weakness at one little position called a quarterback. Not that significant though so I see how you could miss it.
And Bama has had an issue with the secondary the last few years. You can point to '14 as a QB issue, but can you '13? RB goes to LSU. OL goes to LSU. WR to LSU. QB prolly a wash at this point. TBD. DL goes to Bama LB to Bama DB to Bama ST prolly a wash at this point. TBD. That's just this year. Who leads per position can vary from year to year. Comparing the first 22, or 44, leaves me with the same conclusion: two evenly matched teams.
The thing that popped in my mind about Bama QB's is that, several of those years, you all entered the season with a big question but ended up with a qb that was at least a very good "game manager" and could complete some passes. Am I wrong here? Can't remember specifics. And ON THAT, Miles has definitely fallen short. QB development, I'm speaking of. As to this year, OUR special teams have to be THE WORST in the SEC if not all of CFB. I haven't looked at stats but can't imagine Div I programs being worse.
All the QB's under Saban have had their own unique style. Greg McElroy was certainly a game manager but made few mistakes. Coker, prone to make mistakes, leads to an approach that the staff will take a risk and hope for reward. (Not an approach I favor.) Special teams: A whole different ball of wax, IMO. Special teams have been OK for Bama. Specialist struggled early on.
The Saban fan , you know bobby joe says bama to beat the Tigers 48 -0 . I have LSU and 2 td's from another Bama fan and ex Bear coached player .I tried for 3 but he did not want to double up the bet I hope Bama does not have time to pass the ball, if they do well,
What an idiot to give 2 td's in this game. Really, that tells me the guy is too passionate to be betting on Bama games.
Disagree about the secondary. Bama has given up more plays over 30 yards than LSU has. I agree with everything else. LSU has a better kicker too, Bama probably covers kicks better.
