http://espn.go.com/college-football...klahoma-sooners-challenges-sec-defenses-again Said the man whose defense has sucked balls the last few seasons.
This from the guy who had statistically 2 of the greatest offenses of all time, get completely shut the F down by SEC defenses. Not so big game Bob St. Oops is nothing more but a Napoleonic little bitch.
Ok so the CFB nation is talking about the weak SEC defenses this year. It's only partially true. Yes the Manziel is going to get his just like Cam and Tebow before him. UGA and LSU happen to be very young on D but with Senior QBs who know how to play. Alabama just hasn't faced anything this year but Manziel. My guess is that at the end of the year it will be about the D in the SEC.
Before running his pie hole, he might want to check and see how many from SEC defenses left early last year to enter the draft. SEC Ds are just in the downward part of a continual cycle. They will back.
No doubt the sec is in a down year as far as defenses are concerned, "big game" Bob is just upset that in their worst year, the sec defenses are still better than the Big 12's best years of defense.
And let us not forget that 55-19 stomping a PAC 10 team gave 'em in 2004. 38 points coming in the 1st half- obvious Pete took his foot off the gas.
Stoop's a douche, no doubt. And, the SEC defenses, esp. LSUs, are down this year due to attrition, that is true. But, you have to hand it to A&M, which is really his point, they came in here against quality SEC defenses last year and not only succeeded, but their QB won the Heisman. Nobody would have predicted that kind of success against experienced, quality SEC defenses in their first year in the league. This year, the league is QB talented, and defense weak, so it is a bit unusual compared to the past few years.
