Didn't dominate. Peterson was getting beat. Same with Claiborne. Why?

Because we were once again, like last year's o-line, sold a bill of goods.

    And it wasn't good.

Brooks got beat too and missed tackles, Eugene got beat too. Mathieu number 14 played a hell of a game.

The coaches put it in their head they didn't have to respect NC's QB.

I'm not giving up just yet. TJ YAtes played THE best game of his career. As in he has never and will never play(ed) like that again. We also gave up in the second half. We slacked way too much on offense and put the defense on the field the entire second half. You could tell Peterson was on the field too much as he had to leave late in the first half and cramped on the final drive.

Also, a lot of the yards should be put on the coaching staff. Herbstreit even noticed that they kept throwing short to the TE and said that he couldn't believe LSU wasn't bumping him on the line.

All in all, I'm not taking this to be the end all be all of the season. A LOT of football left to be played, and we know how well these guys can play.

    IS THIS TIGER TEAM

Is this Tiger team a top 50 team ?? Or is this what we really want , win the game and try not to get hurt , I know young players have to get playing time , but I would like to see the score 63 to 0 before they get into the game , and then only in the last 4 to 5 minuites of a game ,.Good win Tigers ,

And dumb but I wouldn't doubt it happened, sure looked that way. We bit on play action way too much.

As some others have noted, very similar scenario to the UW game last year. That said, is this something that can be chalked up to a first game of the season issue? The hour is late and I've probably had one too many drinks; I don't recall our secondary getting carved up that badly after the UW game. If that was the case (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong), I think we can expect the necessary adjustments to be made so that this doesn't happen again.
