WHEW!!! This baseball season reminds me a lot of football season with them nail bitters, throwing pillows at the TV, on your knees praying, rolling around on the floor kicking and screaming, last second heart stopping plays that end in celebration. Maybe the baseball season will end just like football. :crystal: Way to Geaux boys! :champs::geauxtige
I have been doing/saying the same thing all year long. The baseball team cannot do anything easy just as the football team did wait to the last minutes/outs to win the game. Hope we keep it going! :tigbas: GEAUX TIGERS!!! :tigbas:
If we dont make any errors, and have a fair called game. this next game is ours. IMO our best pitcher will be on the hill, Blake Martin, and we will come out on top. :geauxtige
Well I have decided that my heart is in good shape, after all the nail biters we have been through, my heart has not let me down. I will die from something else, but not a heart attack.
Tim Fletcher, a Shreveport radio and TV sports guy, is covering the CWS in Omaha. On his radio show this morning he related a story that when Dean hit his bases clearing double in the bottom of the ninth there was one Louisiana sports correspondent who, in obvious distress, started beating his notebook on his computer saying "Why! Why! Why!" Wonder who that could have been. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. :tigbas::LSU231:
Best shot, was of CPM and his two sons hugging after Mitchell scored to win....Awesome win Tigers, just have the Baseball Gods to thank, for the seeing eye singles, and the botched possible double play grounder to Short...
