Actually, if you look at the video of what you say is him "skipping" down the sideline is Miles signaling to his special teams coach to kick a field goal. He is not skipping, he's advancing towards the special teams coach and lifting his leg to gesture "field goal". It is just as apparent as his "clocking" signal to JJ.
