Some time ago, I posted a thread that talked about how confused Miles often looks on the sideline, and that he just seems to "come to" every so often and realize what is going on too late. Now, he calls for a spike and then blames everyone else besides himself. Per my aforementioned thread, he might really not remember calling for the spike. He should man up and take the heat for this one all by himself.
That was classless. I've have always thought Les was a poor game manager, but he has been lucky. He did not look like a top tier coaching skipping up and down the sideline. The coach is supposed to have a mastery of the game and be able to remain calm and execute the game plan. Miles isn't half the football coach Saban is. I don't care about his record. His players have bailed him out with miracle plays time and again. This is the beginning of the end for him.He did a lot of damage to the program tonight. It was inevitable IMO though. He's been skating by for a long time.
run. run. timeout. kick. that was our chance to win. that's what i'm talking about. stop trying to turn it into something it isn't. i'm blaming playcalling. the fact that we didn't need to line up in a phucking shotgun to win that game. the fact that jasper hit a 50 yarder earlier and a 52 yarder against usl. dude's got the leg. if crowton called it, miles shoulda overridden his call. the blame goes on em both, but miles for bieng the boss.
I just can't defend Miles at all. The anti Miles crowd can just say what they want...even if it's not true...because Miles has put us in a position where we can't say ANYTHING !
Spastic Gramps trashing LSU in another thread, imagine that. Spastic, have you ever said anything nice about LSU?
