    D. All of the above. They can run a good draw though.

Lester is scheduled to visit a neurosurgeon today as a precautionary move at CTT's request. Current diagnosis is a "strained neck" and he was back on the sideline after getting x-rays at the local hospital during the game.

Thanks to all that may have sent prayers, because if you saw the play, it was hard to believe it didn't result in serious injury.

If Lester cannot practice by Wednesday, he will not play.

i am extremely nervous and a little pissed at certain aspects of the offense.

    +'s

we can usually run it with scott up the middle, keiland/murphy/and trindon on the sweeps and every once in a while do a qb draw

if the wide receivers can get the ball it's all up to them

special teams are pretty good and really have no complaints

defense , i think the younger people need to learn their assignments, other sec teams will be able to exploit blown coverages for touchdowns and they players can't just rely on their athleticism to get them out of a jam.

    -'s

kicking game is pretty good- im glas we have a veteran kicker- it think it may prove valuable in may close games this season

i think the qb's never get in a rhythm-- why hatch, then lee? Let one get in a rhythm and if he starts to suck, play the other one---

both of their numbers are abysmal--- i dont think im too hard on them, they've had enough time to understand the offense, now just execute-- i mean simple passes seem difficult for them

home field has won the last 8 auburn/lsu-- and the only thin i can say positive about the game is that auburn has their problems too.
they are going to miss lester and we're going to miss beckwith.

i think les may plan at least one trick play and he will prb go for it on a 4th down or two as well. LSU cannot play catch up football- so i hope they dont get behind early----.

    anyone else .. bueller?

i also agree murphy needs more touches.

i think the attitude of the running backs needs to be -- every time one of them touches the ball they need to make a big play, td, 1st down, fight for every inch- in order for them to "get more touches'

Also LSU hasnt played an athletic team yet.

I would have to think that the coaches just wanted to see each QB in certain situations while we were playing soft competition. I don't think this will be the case for SEC competition. At least I hope not.

I'm inclined to agree. IMO, Hatch will start and Lee will come in as a change of pace. They'll put him in a couple of times in the first half to throw some bombs and then if need be they'll put him in in the late third, early fourth and run a draw with Scott to catch them off guard.

    I see it as a 17 - 0 to 28 - 0. Agree home team winning ends.

No way we shut them out.

I do not see it. It looked like we should have mopped the floor with Auburn last year and we got out by the skin of our teeth.

Remember last year, Auburn only managed 3 field goals on ARKANSAS and were down 7-6 with less than 2 minutes to play.

They scored 24 on us last year, and only 1 TD was from a short field.

Now, they did have less than 100 rushing yards. If we can do that again, our chances are good.

I think it will be a a one-score game, say 17-10, with us coming up with a defensive stop late to put it away.

Lester is their only viable threat in the backfield, so they are likely to pass more. That SHOULD result in more nickel packages and Jones will likely make up for Beckwith.

    No worries.
