I think this game has a chance to be another 7-6, 10-9, or 7-3 slugfest. I also think it may be the game that the home team winning streak ends.

Auburn's defense scares me, but that's about it. LSU has many guys that they can go to in a grudge-match type game. Passing game isn't going too well? Scott, Murphy, Williams with a side order of Holliday. Rushing game been figured out? Get the ball into the hands of Byrd, LaFell, the Mitchell's...

I'm looking forward to seeing two great defenses on Saturday. But if LSU's offense can score in double digits then the road Tigers should be able to come away with the victory.

    LSU-20
    Auburn-9

I feel much better about this game than the past few years. Even though our QB play has been a bit sub par imo, Auburn's offense is putrid. Yes their defense is good but every top SEC team has a good defense. Probably won't be a high scoring game but I think it won't be an extremely close game like the past 2 years and we'll win by 10-13 points.

The good news is that AU should be punting a bit. And we have a little guy named Trindon Holliday back there to field punts. That would be a big concern for me if I was Auburn's coach because field position will be HUGE.

Auburn, pretty much has nothing on offense, no sight of a running game. The defense is ok, but we will beat the pretty good imo.
    Just run the ball.

I didn't see the UNT game, but I hear all you guys talking about the poor QB play, what are we talking about? Poor judgement, bad throws, staring down WR's???

If this is the case, the SEC pressure of this game on our young QB could be troublesome, especially on the road. I'm a little less worried about AU offense after seeing them this w/end but I think it will be better. QB play always seems to get us in trouble with AU, and it could be an issue again. Hopefully the running game will open up the passing game just enough times.

Auburn's offense hasn't been the good the past few years, minus 04. But they always manage to score just enough to win at home. Our offense has been pretty bad there too. Should be another defensive slugfest. I'm just happy it's not another CBS road day game...those are brutal to us.
