He's a true freshman behind a guy with a year in Cam's system. When he got his opportunity to take the starting job, he was abysmal. Exactly how much playing time does he think he's gonna get this season after that?
He was thrown to the wolves. I hate to say it but he was a little set up. The fan base was calling for him, miles didn't want him as the starting QB so his hand was forced and now miles can say "look he isn't ready" and keep him riding the bench. To many parallels with lee here.
I agree. I wouldn't call giving him his one and only chance to shine to be a start at auburn. My Lord, look at how AJ stunk at home against New Mexico (And everyone else).
This is laughable. Miles had no choice in starting Harris at AU because Jennings was beyond awful in the NMST game, and Harris looked all-world (albeit against a terrible team.) He didn't "set him up." That's just a stupid statement. It's like some of you actually think that Miles wants to lose games. Think about how moronic that sounds for just a minute.
Have you been paying attention to how miles works. This is exactly what he did with lee. Lee got us 7 wins while JJ was a no go and then he (lee) rides the pine because "miles guy" was now ready to go. The statement maybe "moronic" except the history backs it up.
Funny thing about rumors sometimes people will say one thing to try to burry the rumors and end up doing exactly what the rumor says he/she was going to do. Ie saban comes to mind.
So why do you think he plays one quarterback over the other? Why is one "miles guy" and the other isn't? Do you suscribe to the theory that he is being blackmailed? That he wants to lose? Or do you think that it may be that he and the other coaches believe that one gives them a better chance at winning?
