This is actually a very thought provoking post. Is it better to get to a big bowl and lose, or to go to a minor bowl and win. Think about LSU's Cotton Bowl last season. It really did help us in the pre-season rankings, and it gave the team something to build on. Now, compare that to if we went to the Sugarbowl and lost. The team might have been down in the off season, the fans and press would have been much more negative, and maybe the lack of confidence would have carried over. I am in agreement with you.
Girl you called it earlier in the week. I remember scratching my head reading something you'd posted about losing- possibly to Okie Lite- but you said there was something "not right". Sorry about your team losing and I mean it. You're a great poster here. For a wife who doesn't cook breakfast, that is.
