I think if Victor and Hornsby are around in the opening stretch LSU would have beaten Marquette, Houston, Charleston, and Wake Forrest, and we wouldn't even be debating this. I hope the selection committee sees this too. It's nice to have guys like Vitale pointing this out during broadcasts. As it stands now though LSU can't drop a game they shouldn't. The margin for error is slim. They need to beat South Carolina, they need to at least play A&M close, and need to beat 2 of 3 again out of the UK, Vandy, and UF games. Luckily 2 of 3 of those are at home, and they can't lose to Auburn, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, or Mizzou. 8-2 in this final stretch and I think they are in, maybe 7-3 gets it done, but I'm skeptical.
