OU HYPE

Sorry but in my opinion the #1 Team in the Land should give up 45 points to NO ONE! The saddest thing is that OU will still get 1st place votes on Sunday. :geauxtige

 

Well we did give up 40+ points last year as #1 to mediocre teams and still won the BCS. This Texas team is good...Both teams are terrific and belong in the top 5.

 

Yea...that is a bit much. While you would think the #1 team wouldn't have +40 points against we can look to last year and see that it isn't always the case. Of course it took 6 overtimes to get to that point.

 

I dont think OU or Texas are top 5 teams. Missouri is the class of the conference. IMHO.
Penn St. is next to be vaulted by the media. (even though the Big Ten was exposed again)

 

Man, if you dont think OU are Texas are top 5 teams...then who is??? The SEC cant be 1-5.

I think both teams are worthy of being in the top 5 and just beat the crap outta each other....just like the game tonight in FLA.

 

Come on! I think Texas just proved that they belong in the top five. I mean, honestly, who else would you put up there? Mizzou, we'll see about later on. I think OK State has a decent chance of playing them close. If Texas isn't top five, that leaves Mizzou, Alabama, LSU, Penn State, TTU? Gotta put UT somewhere and I think they're better than either PSU or TTU.

Texas is DEFINITELY a top 5 team. OU is not far behind. Out of all the teams I've seen, Texas looks like #1 so far. Of course, this is the first time I've seen them and this was their biggest rivalry. However, you can see the potential of that team. They just beat OU by 10 after trailing by like 11 or something early. Defense is their weakness, but I have a feeling that holds true for all of the Big 12. Texas vs. Missouri should be a good one.

 

mabe you guys are right about Texas being in the top 5. It just seems like every year the media tries to prop Texas up and they usually get knocked out pretty early.
