I follow recruiting with a passion and can't remember ever having so many quality recruits so early. It should be another special year in recruiting. Only problem is Saban may end most of the excitment early leaving us with nothing but beer and Budweiser girls to keep us on the edge of our seats at the Bash. :lsug:
7 recruits this early is kind of uncommon, but most of your early committs are instate guys. Guys who have always wanted to play at LSU. Just like last year, and the year before, most of your 4 and 5 stars want commit until late in the year. Last year we had alot of verbals early. Maybe not 7 by this time, but alot. :lsug:
I don't think we had anywhere near 7 at this time with many more scholarships to give and some of the guys we have already this year are going to be ranked pretty high. :geaux: :lsug: :champs:
