maybe now because we are old dudes that have had office jobs for a decade or two. there were no dunks in womens college basketball between 2013 and 2020. the WNBA just has a few in their history, and most of them were in all-star games. tremont waters is my height, 5'9. he dunks. rarely, but he can. he is a better dunker than the greatest WNBA dunker of all time, brittney griner. people will often argue that men are more athletic, but women make up for it with skills. this is not true. men, for example, have a longer 3 pointer, with a larger ball and still have better shooting percentages.
the USA women’s national soccer team got SMOKED by a U-15 Boys Dallas area club. like High School freshmen aged boys. just Dallas area, not some national all stars or anything. that women’s team won the world cup that same year. best women’s team on planet.
You place way too much importance on the dunk. You must think Pete Maravich and Larry Bird were terrible. They rarely, if ever, dunked.
The question in the thread is why do we not give ANY notice to other LSU athletic teams except the football, baseball and men's basketball teams, when there are many other LSU sports teams, some women some men that are very good and in some cases SEC and NCAA champions that hardly get a nod on this board. Every time someone brings this up a lot of you guys pull out "the women are too inferior to the men in sports" to warrant any attention here , which is bull fesces. This is an LSU fan board after all.
