WOW, last time I remember checking it was around 120 something days. Man thank you again Tigers Baseball. You killed half of the dead period.
as long as fresno beats this smug ass university and its fanbase all is right in the world. UGA leaves em loaded. sweet. after 2 fresno up 2-0.
actually 3-0. isnt brady wiederhold the UGA pitching coach? guy knew his stuff but smoke did him no favors I suppose.
I was thinking the same thing. Looked like more empty seats in the stands than a few seasons ago. I do like the best of three championship format, but it looks like they could play two games a day more than they have in the current format. ldskule:
Yes it is, if I was Georgia, there is no way on Gods green earth would I pitch to him again. I would hit him with the ball if I had too:lol:
I agree also. Too many days there was just one game. Instead of this fixed schedule, they need to schedule "on the fly" more. But, that would disturb ESPN's precious schedule of 10 SportsCenters a day. Between ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, they really should be able to fit these games in with little trouble on a more compressed schedule. First round games should be on day 1 (all four of them). The second set of four games should be on day 2. Day 3 should have two games (the two teams with one loss remaining in each bracket), day 4 should have 2 games (undefeated and one loss team remaining in each bracket), and day 5 should have any games needed. Then start the 3 game championship series. That cuts the schedule down to 8 days maximum. Still not short, but better.
